Who doesn’t love Spaghetti and Meatballs? I know1 I do but having to make a dinner on both the stove and the oven in the middle of the summer is not happening. So what I did was tried out making in my Instant Pot and guess what it worked out amazing. My family already is talking about next time I make again. They haven’t had since winter so this is an amazing dish I will add to my summer meals. This will make enough for 4-5 people.
1/2 pound of ground pork
1/2 pound of ground beef
or just one 1lb of ground beef
1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
1 tsp of Italian Seasoning
1/2 glove of garlic
1/4 cup of milk
8-10 oz of noodles
1 jar of spaghetti sauce
I add bell pepper to my meatballs but my husband likes that way you don’t have to.
How to make
First you need to make your meatballs, to make you need to get a bowl out and mix up your
meat, egg, breadcrumbs, seasoning, garlic and your milk.
Now place your noodles and your sauce in the Instant Pot, also fill the jar of sauce up with water and add another jar of water into the Instant Pot. At this time I turned my Instant Pot into saute to help the noodles start cooking.
Now the next meatball you are going to roll loosely about the size of a golf ball on top of your noodles. Once you have them all done. Normally I get about 8-10 meatballs.
I turn my Instant Pot on manual mode and let cook for 11 minutes. Once done I open and let sit for about 8 minutes to let the juices soak in a little more.
