My recipe can make enough for 6 small cakes if you want.
If you want only 3 make half the cake box and half the cream cheese.

What You Need.

Box of Red Velvet Cake Mix
It requires
3 eggs
Plus you need
1/4 cup of sugar
8oz cream cheese

How to make

First, you will take the cream cheese out of the fridge for at least 30 minutes to get to room temp.
Once you feel the cream cheese is at room temp and soft.
You will mix the sugar and cream cheese together in a bowl.
Roll your cream cheese into 3 inch balls then place in the fridge.
You will now get out the cake mix box and mix up the cake mix together.
I followed the directions on the box to make the cake mix.

Now get out 3 small Pyrex dishes (1 cup size glass dishes).
Spray them with cooking spray.
Now take your cream cheese balls out of the fridge and set next to your mix and glass dishes.
Now simply fill each glass a little under 1/2 full.
Now place your cream cheese balls and then fill up the glass dish to almost full.

Last you will place on your trivet on the bottom of your Instant  Pot with one cup of water.
Place the lid on your Instant Pot, close the lid place on manual mode for 14 minutes.
Once the timer goes off, do a manual release open the
lid and grab your trivet to lift them out.
You should be able to grab your glass dishes with a dish rag or
pot holder and flip them out so you can enjoy warm.

  1. You say do a manual release on the Instant Pot after cooking…does that mean quick release or natural release? Those are the only two ‘release’ terms I’m familiar with.

    • What do you mean convert? How did you do this? Do you think I can just add some white chocolate chips into the cream cheese balls?
