So making dinner should be simple but also should taste amazing. So I decided tonight to make chicken tikka masala. I wanted something that I could do as a Pot in Pot so here is what I came up with. This recipe is so simple and you will love making for your family.

What you need to make for 4 people
1.5 lbs of diced chicken
4tsp of garam masala
2tsp of curry
1 tsp of ginger
1 tsp of garlic
1/2 cup of onion
8 oz Small Plain Yogurt
1 can of tomato puree
1 can of diced tomato
NOTE- Garam masala, a blend of spices used in Indian cooking, usually includes cardamom, black pepper, cloves, nutmeg, fennel, cumin and coriander. It is available in the spice section of most supermarkets.
The first thing you will do is the night before prep your chicken with your garam masala and curry. So that your chicken is very flavorful.
Next, you will add a little oil to the bottom of your can and then put on simmer and let it cook with your onions. Cook till the onions are translucent.
Now place the chicken with the all the sauce.
Now I did mine as the pot in pot (PIP) and placed a rice bowl pot I have on top with 1/2 cup of dry rice and then 1 cup of water.
Last I closed the lid and cooked for 12 minutes.
I let it release the pressure natural (NPR) for 10 minutes
I had a little left so I opened the valve and let the rest out and placed the rice bowl on a place since had the marsala sauce on it.
