Pressure Cooker Carne Adovada



 Carne Adovada is one of my favorite dishes to make.  It has amazing flavor plus it reminds me of my vacation to New Mexico.  The recipe is easy and you can get a jar of easier for you to make or if you want you can follow this recipe that my friend wrote up if you want homemade.   I use the pre-made since I have no time when I make dinner and use my Instant Pot most times.  


What you need

3 lbs of pork butt 
cut off the bone into 1-2 inch pieces
1 tsp of minced garlic

1/2 cup of diced onion
14 oz of Bueno Red Chile (like in the picture)
3oz of chicken broth 


How to make

First I cut my meat up into small pieces.
Then I poured the chicken broth and red chile sauce.
Next add your pork, garlic, and onion.
Use a spoon to mix it up well, make sure all your pork is mostly covered.

After that, you will close your lid turn into manual/pressure cook mode and cook for 45 minutes on high.
Once the timer goes off turn off your Instant Pot and let it naturally release for at least 10 minutes. 
Once the 10 minutes is up you can open the valve and let out any remaining pressure.
Next, you will open and see the pork looking just like mine.
I made mine into a burrito, I used the juice for the top of the burrito and the pork inside of it.
