Homemade Cranberry Sauce

So my favorite part of Thanksgiving is having fresh homemade food from my Aunts kitchen.  Since I was young  I remember every year going to her house and eating.  So now that she is getting older I am trying to find ways to help her cook dinner faster.  So when I figured out I could make this recipe and save for a few weeks  I had to make.  Honestly, this is the easiest thing you will make this Thanksgiving.

Don’t forget to repin recipe. Just click here to repin.

What you need

12oz package of fresh cranberries
1 orange (squeezed)
1/4 cup of lime juice
2tsp of lime zest
1 cup of sugar

How to make

First, wash your cranberries in the sink, then you will simply add all your ingredients to your Instant Pot.  Then turn on for 7 minutes and once it goes off you will open the valve and do a quick release.  Then you will have an amazing side dish that everyone will want.  When they are done they will look the picture above. I did notice since hot I cooked ahead of time and it was perfect when I ate it later that night.  Remember you can frigate for up to 2 weeks.

If you don’t have an Instant Pot you can do on the stove it will just take twice as long.  Make sure you have cooking on a boil if on the stove.

  1. After the 7 minutes, do you release pressure by the quick method or let the pressure release slowly on to own?

Also, could I use a 6 in. springform pan instead of a small bundt? Wondering about the centre hole cooking properly.
