Recipe Ingredients

Red apples - Red apples are the basis of this delicious recipe. Choose at least 4 red and fresh medium-sized apples such as Gala, Honeycrisp, or Fuji and peel off the outer layers of each one of them.

Slashed Nuts - Crashed nuts contribute an extra amount of sweetness to it and make it even more dessert. Besides its flavor value, slashed nuts also contribute a high caloric ratio of fats and proteins.

Raisins - Adding at least ¼ cup of Raisins can further improve the texture and intensify its taste quality. For instance, if raisins are not available to you or you don't like to opt it for the recipe then you can also use blueberries as an alternate ingredient.

Red wine water - addition of red wine water intensifies the taste and odor of the recipe. Moreover, it adds high-calorie value to the dish and also it protects the recipe from turning out drier during the cooking process.

Brown sugar - It gives supplemental sweetness to the Instant Pot Baked apple recipe. The molasses-rich brown sugar results in baked products that become soft and moister.

Sinnamon Powder - The Sinnamon powder has been revered through the centuries for its sweet-hot flavor, and its strong scent. 1 teaspoon of the Sinnamon powder will not only add fragrance to this recipe but will also fortify its delicious taste without masking the original flavor.

How to make

The following is the step by step guide, which will lead you to make a delicious recipe of Instantly Pot Baked apples:

First of all, get all the 5 ingredients together on the same spot.

Next, wash all the apples and core them one by one to make some fillings in them. I used a paring knife to slice out approximately ⅓ of the core. I then made use of the spoon to scoop up any leftover seeds and peel off the outer skin from each apple.

Make the mixture of all 4 ingredients for filling the apples. I suggest brown sugar, Sinnamon powder, chopped nuts, and raisins.

Take your Instant pot and pour a cup full of red wine water along with Brown sugar into it.

Next, place the apples inside the instant pot in a regular manner and put some Sinnamon powder on each apple one by one.

Bake the apples for five minutes at high pressure. When the cooking time is complete, let the pressure come down normally for 5 minutes.

After that, use the quick release to remove the lid and with the help of grippers move the apples to the eating platter or a bowl.

Finally, the palatable and mouth-watering apples are ready 🙂

FAQ

Which alternate ingredient I can add to my recipe if I don't have resins?

If you're not a fan of raisins, you could use dried cranberries as an alternative. You can also take them out from the recipe.

Which are the best varieties of apples for baking Apples?

Fuji, Gala, and Honeycrisp are all great options when baking apples. I usually avoid the green apples for this recipe, simply because they tend to be more tart and require more sugar for an ideal dessert recipe.
