Recipe Ingredients

ingredients needed to make instant pot garlic green beans

Green beans  - In my opinion, fresh green beans taste the best. They're crunchy and have an amazingly refreshing taste.

Salt & pepper - To taste.

Garlic - Minced garlic is going to give you the most flavor, but you can use garlic powder as well.

Butter - I love using salted butter with this recipe, but unsalted butter is a great option also. You can use clarified butter, melted butter, softened butter or even Instant Pot Ghee.

If needed, saute butter until melted and only then add the green beans and the rest of the ingredients.

Vegetable Broth - This is needed so that the green beans don't stick to the bottom of the Instant Pot and burn.

Change up the seasoning - Adding Italian seasonings or Everything Bagel Seasoning is a great flavor enhancer.

Use a different liquid - You can use chicken stock or beef stock as well. Bone broth is a very healthy option to consider as well.
