Tonight I wanted to make something that was taste but not the same old same old mac and cheese. So made some
Gourmet Mac & Cheese in my Instant Pot.
The recipe was simple but also creamy and perfect for my family. So I am going to share with you how to make enough for your family. This went great with my leftover ham I had and this will serve 4-5 people.
1/2 stick of butter (slice up in 4 pieces)
1 1/4 cup of half and half
2 cup of sharp cheese
1 egg beaten
4 oz of Velveeta Cheese
if you don’t use Velveeta cheese add (60z of cheddar)
some salt and pepper
Once I have my pasta cooked I place the pasta in my Instant Pot
add in my butter stir till melted.
Next I add in half the cheese, eggs , Velveeta and salt and pepper.
Then I stir up well and then add the leftover cheese on top and place lid on my Instant Pot.
I cook on high pressure for 15 minutes, once the timer goes off let the pressure natural release then open and stir up well. If it looks a little dry you can add a little more half and half.
